| Description: | An excellent opportunity exists in our Procurement Department for an outstanding Senior Buyer in the consumer products field. This position will report to the Director of Purchasing. Responsibilities include International Sourcing and negotiation using an AS/400 based ERP System. |
| Duties: | Duties include: Obtain quotations, prepare and place purchase orders on a variety of commodity, materials, equipment and supplies: work from blue prints or written specifications to evaluate proposals or quotatiohns; follow-up of purchase orders, interview vendors and develop adequate and reliable sources of supply. |
| Qualifications: | The person we are looking for must have prior experience with a consumer product manufacturer, excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. We require prior knowledge and experience using an AS/400 based ERP system, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. This person must have a minimum of 5-7 years of solid work experience. |
